1 block extra firm tofu (with the water)
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 cup almond milk
1/2 tsp Kala Namak (black salt)
Optional: Sautéed veggies of your choosing: peppers, onions, spinach, mushrooms, etc.
Optional toppings: black pepper and chives
Optional: sauté your favorite veggies and set aside.
Add tofu with the water to a bowl and break into small pieces.
Add nutritional yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, and turmeric to the tofu and mix well.
Add tofu to a non-stick pan or skillet over medium heat. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add almond milk and reduce heat to medium/low. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until the liquid evaporates.
Add black salt and mix in well.
Fold in sautéed veggies, top with black pepper and chopped chives.
