Tofu Scramble


  • 1 block extra firm tofu (with the water)

  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric

  • 1/4 cup almond milk

  • 1/2 tsp Kala Namak (black salt)

  • Optional: Sautéed veggies of your choosing: peppers, onions, spinach, mushrooms, etc.

  • Optional toppings: black pepper and chives


  1. Optional: sauté your favorite veggies and set aside.

  2. Add tofu with the water to a bowl and break into small pieces.

  3. Add nutritional yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, and turmeric to the tofu and mix well.

  4. Add tofu to a non-stick pan or skillet over medium heat. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

  5. Add almond milk and reduce heat to medium/low. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until the liquid evaporates.

  6. Add black salt and mix in well.

  7. Fold in sautéed veggies, top with black pepper and chopped chives.
